American Academy of Pinecrest was founded as a neighborhood high school in Miami, Florida in 1971. The home study correspondence program was developed and introduced in 1976. For over thirty years American Academy of Pinecrest has earned an excellent reputation.

American Academy of Pinecrest provides you with a flexible approach to earn a nationally recognized high school diploma based on an accredited and comprehensive program. Our self-paced high school curriculum allows you to work at your own pace. You can progress as quickly or as comfortably as you like.

You can quickly complete requirements for many, or all, subjects by taking certain nationally published exams in your home. Exams are available in English. They test your ability to read high school level material. They don’t test how many facts you’ve memorized. All questions are multiple choice.
